The Origin - 2014

"The original 8 Reapers (we weren't even called Reapers back then) took up the 100 day challenge in preparation for Gulf Wars.
The King of Trimaris (SCA) challenged its warriors to 100 days of preparedness and we, the soldiers of the Kingdom of Meridies, would answer! War was coming!
We posted daily to the Kingdom page of Meridies and we held our accountability there.
When the 8 fufilled the challenge, I presented them with the patch. Others committed to the challenge. Challengers kept showing up.
After some 3000 posts I moved the challenge.
Over the last few years our community has developed and gone global. The challenge has reached our brothers and sisters of other disciplines.
Many disciplines!
SCA, HEMA, Amtgard, Archery, Rapier, and so many more!! I couldn't be happier with this.
